Hammer'n Groove lure has the same dimensions as the 7 and 9 oz vertical jig models,it's just lighter so the surf caster can throw it.This unique lure can actually be worked on top like a pencil popper! The "Wobblehead-like" grooves in the front provide the action and the hammered finish provides the strobe effect flash that combine for a revolutionary effect.This lure will cast extremely far,, but rides up and with a moderately fast retrieve, can be worked on top and just below the surface. It darts and flashes like a herring or menhaden in trouble.

It has a seductive side to side  wiggle that can be used in surprisingly shallow waters for a 3 1/2 oz lure. Of course the gold color works well in the low light of dawn and dusk and in "less than clear" water.

The gold color, although not as well appreciated in the north as it is in the south, is a deadly color. It works well in low light... and remember that two of the most sought after baitfish in the water, herring and menhaden (aka pogies or bunker), have a gold flash to them when they turn in the water.

Gold Butterfish 2 Ounce: The new Point Jude Gold 2 oz. Butterfish. It has the same great castability and frantic action of the nickle and Balck Knight 2oz. Butterfish. This new one is a tested and proven color - gold - works well in low light conditions like dirty water after a storm or dawn and dusk. Sometimes changing something like color can make all the difference!

Gold Cobra 1 1/4 Ounce: A perfect sandeel imitation. Get it down on the sand and twitch it to imitate a sandeel trying to hide. Good for fast retrieve for albies and bonito too. Cobras have taken big stripers in the old days and now they're back!

Gold Mullet 2 Ounce: 2 oz Gold Mullet, This lure has a medium profile for mullet and small mackerel sized fish. A nice seductive wobble with the long bright yellow/white hackle tail.
