Point Jude Lure Co. New for 2009 ~ Hammer 'N Groove 4.5 Ounce: The new 4.5 oz. Hammer'n Groove lure has the same dimensions as the 7 and 9 oz vertical jig models,it's just lighter so the surf caster can throw it.This unique lure can actually be worked on top like a pencil popper! The "Wobblehead-like" grooves in the front provide the action and the hammered finish provides the strobe effect flash that combine for a revolutionary effect.This lure will cast extremely far, but rides up and with a moderately fast retrieve, can be worked on top and just below the surface. The new Jointed T.C. Sandeel - 2.6 oz.: I am very pleased with this one. After much conversation and consultation with a wise surf sage...and a few other sharpies, we have developed the jointed TC Sandeel. It bears the initials of the one who prowls in the darkness of the dunes undetected, who finally drew it on a napkin in a remote breakfast establishment on the far reaches of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It weighs 2.6 oz. and the metal length is just under 6 in. It is designed to be dragged in the sand making a *puff* of sand which a hungry striper will think is a sandeel trying to hide. It can be cast and retrieved through different levels of the water column as well, and with a little rod twitching will have much flash and attraction. Here's an added bonus to this lure - it is a 3 in 1 lure! You can make it into a shorter 2 section lure or even a 1 section bullet to match different baitfish.

Butterfish- 2 Ounce: A deadly choice when small menhaden (peanut bunker) or any other oval baitfish are the prey. Intricate design, bullet-like castability, and irresistable side to side action distinguish these lures from all others. 
Butterfish - 2 1/2 Ounce: Like the other two Point Jude Butterfish, this lure imitates juvenile bunker or menhaden. It is a little bigger to mimic slightly older, late fall bunker. It casts very far and has maximum flash and wobble action in the water. Depending on the retrieve speed, it can be skipped on top or planed at different depths in the water column.
Sea Scallop - 2 Ounce: This lure casts well and covers a lot of water. It has great slash and flash action at any depth. The Sea Scallop mimics small mackerel, menhaden, or mullet. An excellent fish finder as it reaches the distant spots when the tide is up on the beaches.
 PoJee - 1 1/2 Ounce & 2 1/2 Ounce: Perfect when small thin profiled baitfish like silversides, sandeels, or anchovies are around. Both sizes work great for stripers and blues. The smaller one is also a proven killer on bonito, albies, and even bluefin tuna!
 Sandeel - 1 1/4 Ounce: Like the Pojees, this lure mimics slender profiled baitfish. Slightly thinner and lighter than the Pojees, it is also good on bass, blues, bonito, albies and bluefin tuna.
 Mullet - 2 Ounce: The 2 oz mullet is a medium profile in the classic tin design from the early days of surfcasting. This model cast well and has a nice action. It imitates medium profiled baits like small mackerel and mullet.  Nautilus - 2 1/2 Ounce & 3 1/2 Ounce: Heavy metal thunder! The recessed striper on the 2 1/2 oz. and the raised striper on the 3 1/2 oz. gives these two lures a sharp look, but the Nautilus keel and enticing wobble action makes these two lures very effective in the worst conditions. When other plugs flutter and flop in a strong wind ~ launch a Nautilus to reach the fish!
 A-34 1/2 Ounce: A bright nickle finish on a diamond jig with a size 6 trebble hook. Perfect for mackerel, skip jacks, bonito, and any fish that chases small silver baitfish.
